Our Green Commitment

At Notown Goods, we believe thoughtful packaging can also mean thoughtful reuse.

Whenever possible, we reuse clean shipping boxes, packing materials, and shopping bags to help reduce waste and keep quality materials in circulation. Many of the boxes we receive from our vendors are in excellent condition and perfect for reuse, helping cut down on unnecessary packaging waste.

You may occasionally receive an online order packed in a carefully reused box or mailer labeled with our reused packaging stickers. While the outside packaging may have had a previous life, every order is packed with care and attention.

We also reuse paper shopping bags in the shop whenever possible. Reusing quality bags helps reduce waste while giving perfectly good materials a second life.

In addition to reusing materials whenever we can, we also use energy-efficient LED lighting throughout the shop as part of our effort to reduce unnecessary waste and energy use.

How You Can Help

We gladly accept clean, gently used paper shopping bags with handles for reuse in our shop. Bags may be from any store and can include logos or printed gift bag designs.

We also welcome the return of Notown Goods branded jewelry boxes in clean, reusable condition.

• Newspaper
• Bubble wrap
• Bags without handles
• Shipping boxes
